Ethical practice is one of the pillars of Applied Behavior Analysis. However, in an increasingly regulated environment, ethical dilemmas may arise more frequently.

Having clear protocols, ethics committees and mediation spaces makes it possible to address complex situations in a preventive and structured manner. Ethics should not be understood only as a corrective mechanism, but as a tool for accompaniment and continuous improvement.

Professional associations play a key role in providing impartial advice, preventive case review and guidance in conflicts between professionals, agencies or families.

Promoting a strong ethical culture protects both professionals and service users, strengthens institutional trust and contributes to the credibility of the ABA sector as a whole.
